Collection: planned for Fall 2026

AS1C (unknown) G6S Normal

We returned to Camelot Cattle Co in 2025 to purchase a herdsire, just a few years after we brought home our three wonderful doelings, Cinder, Jasmine and Mandisa. Initially, we reserved a buckling who would have been Cinder’s paternal brother, but after seeing Thidwick’s dam’s udder photos, and looking at the performance data on his sire, Moose, we switched gears. Thidwick should bring size and beautiful udders to our lines. We have big plans in store for him over the course of his life.

Thidwick’s dam, Camelot Cattle Co Destiny, was a second freshener when we purchased Thidwick. She is paternal sibling to Cinder, so Thidwick has gorgeous udder genetics behind him. Destiny produced over 2500 pounds of milk as a two-year-old, first freshener with a lactation peak of over 11 pounds a day. That’s a fantastic, milky base behind our boy! Unfortunately, Destiny was not appraised in the Camelot herd before herd reductions yielded her sale to another farm. We are hopeful that she gets scored in the future.

Thidwick’s sire is Camelot Cattle Co Moose. Moose is the littermate brother to Top Ten Doe, Camelot Cattle Co Harley Quinn. He appraised as a 91, at six years old, with Excellents in head, front legs, back and rump. Moose’s progeny with scores also score highly overall and excellent in several structural categories. It is our expectation that Thidwick will not only add milk, but also improve our stocks conformation across the board.

Linear Appraisal Data

Thidwick has not been appraised. It is unlikely we will have him appraised before age four. Instead, please enjoy these photos of Thidwick to see his growth and maturity as he ages.

Progeny @ Bluestem Acres

2025- As of early September, Thiddy wasn’t yet interested in breeding does. We have a few more weeks to let him grow up, but its possible that he won’t be ready and willing yet this season. If he does cover his assigned does, we hope he gives us some girls! Planned retained doe kids from Mystique, Jasmine and Spark… but he’ll also be bred to Karisma and Desi, so we hope to have backup retained doe kid options.
